Thomas founded Strategic Governance Advisory in 2018, in response to a need from international clients, wishing to expand their activities in North Africa and wishing to have reliable relays and partners on the ground.
Thomas has extensive experience as an advisor and consultant to a number of political, international and non-governmental organizations, research centers and private sector firms in the MENA region.
He has worked on issues relating to the business climate, defining location strategies, analyzing the competition and the ecosystem, validating stakeholders and managing political, ESG and reputational risks.
Thomas is also a lecturer for the Executive Master at the Ecole de Guerre Economique – Rabat campus, teaching modules on strategic analysis, the geopolitical challenges of international sanctions and frameworks for combating corruption and the financing of terrorism.
Thomas holds an executive master’s degree in strategic intelligence from the Ecole de Guerre Economique – Paris, and a master’s degree in international affairs from Lyon 3 University, focusing on the analysis of security threats in the MENA region.
He also holds certifications in the prevention of radicalisation from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), and on the financing of organised crime and illicit trade from the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI).
Strategic analysis and intelligence products can not be effectively deployed without a strong and transparent ethical framework.
At Strategic Governance Advisory, we understand that managing risk is critical to the success of any enterprise.
